Another Winter Photo Shoot

This morning, everything from trees to fences was covered in icy, snowy crystals. It was just too beautiful!!

Winter Splendour

The cold, snowy weather we've been having was just too tempting to not go out in for some photos. Although I came in in a state of icicle-ism, it was still worth it!

Thankfully I was wearing my wool dress, so it kept me warmer than I would have been otherwise.

The dress will be up on my sewing blog in the next week or two, incidentally.

It is amazing to see the splendour of God's creation, even in drifts of snow! Nothing that man can manufacture could ever be so beautiful.

Ah....fall is here. Ever since we had a frost a couple of nights in a row, the leaves have been rapidly turning colors and falling. And since today was a miraculously un-buggy day, so it was the perfect opportunity to take some marvelous pictures. I hope you enjoy them.

We just noticed that the pesky hornets have built a beautiful but unfriendly hive in our tree.

Creation

It has been so long since I posted last! I am really excited about taking pictures though, so it's not going to be like that again.

Our roses are blooming right now. I just love that deep, citrusy smell, and the velvety feel of their petals. Only Our Creator could make something so intricate and so amazing.

Before you think I'm really weird for posting a picture of a dead bird, well, just look at how beautiful it is! We came home and found this indigo bunting laying dead on the sidewalk. It was so beautiful though, that I had to photograph it.
